What is microneedling?
Microneedling uses fine, sterile needles to create tiny controlled punctures in the skin, which stimulates your skin’s natural collagen production. As new collagen forms, the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and uneven texture can improve. It is a good option for people looking for skin rejuvenation. At Northland Longevity we use the COSMOPen®, a professional microneedling device.
Am I a good candidate?
The COSMOPen® can be used on all skin types. It is a valuable tool for a variety of skin concerns, including facial rejuvenation, scarring (acne and surgical), stretch marks and pigmentation disorders.
What will treatment feel like, and how long is the downtime?
Treatment time is approximately 1 hour. In most cases, a topical anesthetic is applied to the skin before treatment to reduce discomfort. Side effects are minimal, and most patients experience redness for 12 to 48 hours afterward. Downtime is minimal: you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment.
When will I start seeing results?
You will usually notice some improvement after the first treatment. More significant results usually come after 2 to 3 treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. Collagen production takes time, so skin continues to improve over the 6 to 12 months after your treatments with a proper skin care routine. Results vary for each patient.
Fall introductory rate: $200 per treatment, or $550 for 3 treatments, through December 15, 2026.
